Korean Society of Nuclear Medicine
South Korea's nuclear medicine society, which runs the country's annual meeting and publishes its English-language journal.
Overview
The KSNM describes itself as "a scientific and professional organization founded in 1961". Its journal is Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (id: nuclear-medicine-and-molecular-imaging), published by Springer. The 65th annual meeting, held with the 25th Asian Regional Cooperative Council for Nuclear Medicine meeting, runs 6 to 7 November 2026 at Sejong University in Seoul.
Korea is a small market with an unusually dense radiopharmaceutical industry: FutureChem's florastamin F-18 PSMA tracer reached MFDS approval in April 2026, CellBion has filed for conditional approval of a lutetium-177 PSMA therapy, DuChemBio supplies most of the country's diagnostic tracers, and KIRAMS runs the public cyclotron and alpha-emitter programmes. The society meeting is where those programmes report first.
