CellBion
A Korean company developing a lutetium-177 prostate cancer therapy of its own, now filed for conditional approval in Korea.
Overview
CellBion was founded in July 2010 and is based at Daehak-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the Seoul National University cancer laboratory site; it is listed on KOSDAQ under code 308430. Its own description of the business is "the advancement of Radioligand Therapy (RLT) and Antibody Radionuclide Conjugates (ARC)".
The lead asset is lutetium-177 DGUL (pocuvotide) for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, with the matching gallium-68 NGUL diagnostic. The company's pipeline page states that "conditional approval is anticipated shortly following the completion of Phase 2 trials in Korea", and Korean trade press reported in 2026 that the conditional-approval application had been submitted to the MFDS. Behind it sit an actinium-225 DGUL programme and an actinium-225 antibody conjugate, both preclinical, and a phase 1 combination of the lutetium agent with pembrolizumab. If approved, it would be Korea's first domestically developed radioligand therapy.
