HTA (Atom Hi-Tech)

HTA is the radiopharmaceutical subsidiary of China Isotope & Radiation Corporation (id: china-isotope-radiation), and so sits under CNNC. In February 2026 CNNC announced that HTA had achieved domestic large-scale production of germanium-68 on a 30 MeV proton cyclotron - the parent isotope of the gallium-68 generators used for PSMA and DOTATATE PET - with each batch exceeding 3.7 GBq and nuclear purity above 99.9 per cent, described as China's first independent, stable, large-scale Ge-68 capability.

That is the supply story; the product story is that HTA also holds Chinese approvals for routine agents including therapeutic sodium iodide I-131 capsules, and runs lutetium-177 and gallium-68 somatostatin-receptor programmes. Together with the Qinshan reactor route for lutetium-177, it is why China's domestic radioligand pipeline is less exposed to European isotope supply than most.
