IBA (Ion Beam Applications), of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, is the largest supplier of proton therapy equipment: its Proteus One and Proteus Plus systems equip proton centres worldwide, and it also builds cyclotrons for PET isotope production. Proton therapy's capital cost is the problem its compact systems try to answer.

IBA, Ion Beam Applications, based in Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium, is the largest supplier of proton therapy equipment. Its Proteus One and Proteus Plus systems equip proton centres worldwide, and it also makes cyclotrons for PET isotope production and supports actinium-225 research.
