Acrotech Biopharma
Acrotech Biopharma, part of Aurobindo, owns the former Spectrum Pharmaceuticals haematology portfolio: the radioimmunotherapy Zevalin, pralatrexate (Folotyn), belinostat (Beleodaq) and vincristine liposome (Marqibo).
Overview
Acrotech Biopharma, based in East Windsor, New Jersey, and part of Aurobindo, owns the former Spectrum Pharmaceuticals haematology portfolio: the radioimmunotherapy Zevalin, pralatrexate as Folotyn, belinostat as Beleodaq and vincristine liposome as Marqibo. It acquired Spectrum's marketed products in 2019, including Zevalin, or ibritumomab tiuxetan, for follicular lymphoma, Folotyn and Beleodaq for peripheral T-cell lymphoma, Marqibo and Evomela, a melphalan formulation. Nuclide links it to the ibritumomab tiuxetan drug record. Whether the only approved radioimmunotherapy for lymphoma survives commercially in an owner focused on generics is the open question. Ibritumomab tiuxetan has its own page.
