Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center
Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center is China's leading breast cancer centre and the site of first-in-human TROP2 PET imaging.
Overview
Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center is China's leading breast cancer centre, ranked fifty-fifth in the Newsweek/Statista oncology list, and the site of the first-in-human TROP2 PET imaging study. Shao Zhimin's molecular subtyping of triple-negative breast cancer and the FUTURE umbrella trial built on it, the gallium-68 TROP2 nanobody PET tracer from Shaoli Song, and the highest breast cancer surgical volume in the world are its distinguishing contributions, with Yi-Zhou Jiang, Xichun Hu and Dingwei Ye also listed. Nuclide links it to triple-negative breast cancer, to TROP2 as a target and TROP2 PET as a technology, and to Zhongshan Hospital and the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology. Whether subtype-directed treatment of TNBC improves on a single standard is the question FUTURE was designed to answer. Its TNBC, TROP2 PET and surgery programmes are listed below.
